Organization

An organization is the unit of ownership and billing in Signals. Every member signs in on behalf of one, every workspace lives inside one, and access decisions are made at this boundary.

What an organization holds

Workspaces, members, roles, billing, and any guest grants an org extends to or receives from other orgs. Data never crosses organization boundaries by default — guests are the only way in.

Members and roles

Each member has exactly one role per organization: viewer, editor, or admin. Admins manage membership and billing; editors do the research work; viewers read along. See Roles & access for the full matrix.

Guest access

An admin can grant another organization guest access at a chosen role. The grant is whole-org to whole-org — every member of the guest org gets the same access level. Revoke it at any time from organization settings.
