- What's a credit?
- A credit is a normalized AI-work unit, abstracted from raw tokens so the price stays stable as the underlying model mix shifts. As a rough mental model: one Source-and-Verify Task on a Signal, or one Report generation on a fast model, costs about 1 credit. Frontier models cost more per credit; the app shows the exact estimate before you run anything.
- How do tier and credits relate?
- A tier bundles two things: capacity (Workspaces + editor seats) and a monthly credit allowance. Pick the tier that matches your team's scale; the bundled credits cover normal monthly use. If you need more credits, buy a top-up pack — no tier change needed. If your organization already pays a model provider, switch on BYOK (Pro and up) to use your own AI key and get ~45% off the tier price.
- What if I'm not ready to pick a tier?
- Buy a 100-credit PAYG pack for €99 on a personal card. No commitment, no expiry. You get one seat (you), no Workspace, and enough credits to run one deep research theme end-to-end. Upgrade to Starter or above when you need a Workspace, more seats, or a recurring credit allowance.
- What counts as a seat?
- A seat is anyone in your Organization who can create or edit — author Signals, run Workflows, edit Playbooks, generate Reports. Viewers (read-only members) and external Guests invited to specific Workspaces are always free and unlimited, on every tier.
- Do bundled credits roll over?
- No — bundled credits refresh every billing period and don't roll over. We send a notice when you hit 10% of your monthly balance. Top-up packs (PAYG) never expire.
- How does BYOK billing work?
- On Pro and above you can connect your own AI gateway (Vercel AI Gateway, OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock). Every model call routes through your account, so the AI bill goes to your provider at their rates. Your tier's bundled credits are no longer charged for AI compute, and we drop the platform fee by ~45% since we're not absorbing that cost.
- What's in the add-ons?
- SSO (SAML, WorkOS-backed) and customer-managed encryption are €125/month each, available on PAYG, Starter, and Pro. They're bundled into Team and Business and into every enterprise / Partner contract — at that level they're table stakes, not premium features.
- Is there a free trial?
- No trial, but every visitor gets one free scan: enter a research theme and we run a starter Workflow on our credits. The output (signals, frames, a starter report) becomes Session 1 of your first Workspace if you sign up.
