Analyst chat
Every session has a chat surface where you talk to an analyst agent. It can search your signals, draft edits, attach sources, generate images, and write reports — under your direction, while no workflow is currently running.
Reads vs. writes
Reads are always available — the agent can search signals, reports, and the briefing whenever you ask. Writes are paused while a workflow run is active on the session so chat doesn’t collide with the pipeline.
What chat can do
Edit signal fields, add or remove sources, create or revise reports, attach images, and answer questions across the session corpus. It does not move grounding — that’s reserved for the source-and-verify task.
Threads
You can start as many threads per session as you like. Old threads remain accessible so you can revisit a line of investigation later or fork into a new direction.
